U19S FIXTURE MARRED BY SERIOUS LEG INJURY

An extremely serious injury to Carmel winger, Marcus Jenson on fifty-five mins, led to the abandonment of the game, which had seen the Black team of the Red Devils U19s’ squad, dominant throughout.  The injury is understood to be a combination of a broken leg and dislocated ankle, sustained as he affected a valiant, try-saving tackle, but which left him unable to be moved from the pitch, owing to the severity and complexity of it, until the arrival of paramedics.

Everyone connected with Salford Red Devils send their best wishes to Marcus for a speedy recovery.
