SRDFoundation Welcome Albion Academy

This week we at the Salford Red Devils Foundation have been delighted to welcome boys from The Albion Academy to the community office to take part in a range of activities. As part of the Albion Sport Academy, our partnership with Albion Academy allows for talented sports players to develop their professional skills of playing, living and learning about life within our professional sports environment.
 

Course members from Albion spend every afternoon in Y10 & 11 training, working towards BTEC Sports Level 2, as well as working within aspects of the club here at the Salford Red Devils. They will also be expected to work on matchdays and represent both The Albion and the Salford Red Devils in public at events when required.
 

This partnership will hopefully enable course members to develop life-long links with sports professionals and ourselves here at the club, as a route into a career in sports... There might even be future Salford Red Devils First team stars in the making amoung the students, so there are great possibilities!
