One Medical Group support Lance Todd Dinner.

Salford Red Devils Foundation, the Red Devils Association and Rugby League Cares are delighted to welcome One Medical Group on board as sponsor of the 2014 Lance Todd Dinner. Family orientated and based in Leeds, One Medical Group are new friends to rugby league who see a great fit with the community focused nature of our sport.

This year’s Lance Todd Dinner will take place at Salford’s Worsley Park Marriott in front of a packed room of former winners, players, media and fans. The event belongs to Salford RL’s past player’s association, which sees the Red Devils Association bestow its coveted Lance Todd Trophy on the winner of the man of the match at the annual, Wembley held, Challenge Cup Final.

This year sees the Red Devils Association working closely with Salford Red Devils Foundation and Rugby League Cares, as well as being heavily supported by OneMedicalGroup, to make this event a success. Chief Executive Rachel Beverley-Stevenson, said: “We are delighted to sponsor the Lance Todd dinner which follows on from our commitment of working with rugby league as part of the Rugby League Cares ‘Year of Health and Wellbeing’ awareness programme. Our activity in 2015 is all about working with RFL partners such as the Salford Red Devils Foundation on how to improve fans’ and community’s health and reach out to the wider rugby league community with information and advice.”

Taking place in the traditional slot of the first Wednesday after the Final, the evening itself sees the BBC’s Dave Woods be MC and in charge of proceedings. He will be joined by a host of previous winners including 3 times winner Sean Long and double winner Andy Gregory. Guests will enjoy a drinks reception, 3 course dinner and be entertained until late by a magician, musician and comedian.
