Dancers Perform at Challenge Cup Final
Dancers perform at the Challenge Cup Final
The Salford Red Devils decided to “Join the Momentum” and run a dance camp, leading to dancers performing at the Challenge Cup Final.
The camps were ran by The Salford Red Devils Foundation, Rugby League Cares and Join the Momentum.
The dancers took part in an intensive dance camp and a mass rehearsal at the Select Security Stadium, home of Widnes Vikings.
Their rehearsal took place during half time of the Widnes vs. Hull KR game and the dancers performed in front of a busy crowd, allowing them to prepare for their ultimate goal of the Challenge Cup Final.
The dancers all came from the local community and this fantastic opportunity was available to anybody who could make all dates.
The camp was supported and promoted by The Lowry Theatre, who also had some of their CAT students in attendance.
The final performance was during half time at this year’s Challenge Cup Final at Wembley. Leeds Rhinos beat Hull KR 50-0 and the dancers hard work came together and looked brilliant.
