Assura raise money for the Salford Red Devils Foundation

 The Assura Group fund raises for the Salford Red Devils Foundation
 

The Salford Red Devils Foundation began their partnership with Assura earlier this year, and have worked on a number of health projects together in the past six months.

Assura are currently fundraising within the community, in order to show their support toward local charities that are 'making a difference to the health of the people of the North West'.
 

The year-long campaign sees Assura raise money for both The SRD Foundation and Warrington Wolves Foundation.
 

Jonathon Murphy, Assura's Finance Director, has decided to take up the challenge of running the 'English Half Marathon' in Warrington on the 20th September 2015.


Jonathon previously raised money with Assura by organising the corporate Touch Rugby League event at MediaCityUK on the 22nd of July. Dubbed the 'Assura Challenge' the event saw various businesses take part in Touch Rugby games at 'The Pitch'.


Events such as the Assura Challenge and the upcoming English Half Marathon help to raise awareness of the importance of health and wellbeing in the local community. 


Foundation Director, Mark Brocklehurst said of Jonathon's fundraising: "The Foundation really cannot thank Jonathon enough for his fantastic fundraising efforts. The Assura Challenge was a brilliant success and I am sure his half-marathon will be, too. 


"The Foundation are really impressed with his dedication to raising money for the charity and awareness for SRDF's work in the local community."
